Mediteam offers occupational health service for offshore and onshore companies. The management systme of Mediteam is according to the quality standard NS-EN ISO 9001:2000 and to the environment standard NS-EN ISO 14001 to deliver a service in compliance with statutory requirements and the principles of good working practice in occupational health services.

Our service/product is:

Health, safety and environment services to prevent working related accidents and illnesses, to promote health and job satisfaction, and to prevent employees being expelled from the work force.

The main objectives of our service are:

	improved health based on a sound working environment
	prevent unwanted health effects of the working environment
	prevent employees being expelled from the working force

In particular we are involved in activities like:

advisor for management and employees, e.g.

Review of relevant internal procedure Evaluation of compliance with statutory requirements Evaluation of and co-operation with the occupational health service of subcontractors/clients

	involvement in environmental surveys, e.g. administer psychososial charting
	health and environment interviews of the employees (e.g. mapping of exposure to potential hazardous factors in the working environment)
	assistance in the process of planning or alteration of working areas, and in developing guidelines for use of chemicals, machines and equipment
	information, e.g. to prevent illness/injury due to hazardous factors in the working environment
	selective health examinations if the employee is exposed to potential harmful working conditions
	participation in the Working Environment Committee (AMU)
	evaluation of possible work related illnesses
	rehabilitation, i.e. prevent employees being expelled from the working force
	assist in the preventive and rehabilitation work related to alcohol or drug abuse/addiction
	offshore health certificates and seamen's health certificates
	health certificates for divers
