Mediteam was established in 1995. Our dedicated team has extensive experience providing occupational health services to both onshore and offshore industries. We have special expertise in onshore, offshore, marine, and diving-related legislation, serving a wide range of clients.

Diving medicine
John Hjelle has worked as a diving medical doctor since 1985, and has extensive experience and a lot of expertise in the field. He now works with consulting for operating companies and suppliers within diving medicine and medical emergency preparedness.
Partners
Jæren Bedriftshelsetjeneste is a subsidiary of Mediteam. They are located in Bryne, and contribute to greater professional and geographical weight and breadth.
We also have close cooperation with various occupational health services throughout Norway.
This benefits those of our customers who need HSE/BHT services elsewhere in the country.
Gnist psychologists: We collaborate with psychology specialist Astrid Duun Norberg in Sandnes and Gnist psychologists, who offer fast, confidential and qualified help when needed.
They contribute, among other things, with psychological guidance, treatment of mental health problems, stress management, crisis and trauma treatment, and giving lectures.
Five Midwives: We have a partnership with Five Midwives.
They can assist with the preparation and follow-up of pregnant employees.
Stavanger Sports Clinic: We have a collaboration with Stavanger Sports Clinic. They assist with, among other things, treatment of musculoskeletal disorders and measurement of maximal oxygen uptake (VO2 max).
Mediteam is an approved company in accordance with the requirements of The Norwegian Labour Inspection Authority. Mediteam prequalified Achilles Joint Qualification System (Achilles FKO, Achilles Joint Qualification System – JQS).
Mediteam is an authorized yellow fever vaccinator from the Norwegian Institute of Public Health and WHO.
Mediteam can issue a health certificate for offshore work, for work on vessels (sailor medical certificate), for professional and scuba diving, and for driving (driving license).
